PATCH 1.4.1: Constant Freezes on Minor Ping Spikes (8ms to 15ms)
Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent issue since the 1.4.1 update that occurs in every single match.
The Problem:
My connection is usually excellent, sitting at 6-8ms. However, during the match, the ping occasionally spikes to 15ms or slightly higher. In any other game, this wouldn't be an issue, but in FC 26, the game completely freezes or stutters the moment this happens. This didn't happen 2 weeks ago.
This is accompanied by heavy input delay and a "raspy" feel in player movement that makes the game unplayable.
My Specs:
- Laptop: ASUS TUF Gaming 15
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050 Laptop
- OS: Windows 11
- Screen: 144Hz (I had to cap it at 60Hz to make it "playable", but the delay remains).
Troubleshooting done:
- Reinstalled the game.
- Optimized NVIDIA settings (High Performance, 10GB Shader Cache).
- Disabled BatteryBoost and WhisperMode.
It seems the game's netcode is extremely unstable after the patch. Is there a fix for this sensitivity to minor ping variations?
