Thank you all for reporting these issues. Could you please confirm whether the settings reset always happens in the second half of each game? Have you also tried deleting the “Personal Settings 1” profile to create a new settings file? Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share your DxDiag report and let us know whether you experience the same problem in both online and offline modes.

I have exactly the same issue. The stutter begins the second half. Resetting graphics or display to default is NOT fixing the issue. The delay is huge. How come a game like this never seems to fix these kind of issues?
Guys try playing the game on DirectX 11 ( in EAapp/Steam game properties type the command -dx11 ) it fixed the issue for me 100% , the reason behind is that FC 26 is poorly optimized on DirectX 12 so rolling back to DirectX 11 will surely solve these memory leaks
I have noticed it appears to occur randomly after cutscenes for me. The game will be running fine and looking good until I start the second half or score a goal - specifically the cutscene of people celebrating inside the pub is worst. After a cutscene, the game is unplayable and I have to quit. FPS drops massively to single figures, the ball physics appear super odd, and the game stutters like hell. The players also appear super fuzzy around the edges? It happens on manager career and ultimate team. I can't play the game until this is fixed, I have tried everything. Sometimes it does run the cutscene fine, but I'd say nearly 50% of the time it kills the game and I have to quit.

Has anyone found a fix for this? Most second half games are unplayable due to lag and massive frame drop. It seems a common issue, I cant believe EA allowed this to be released if not fit to use, with people spending money on the game.
I used EA app for 25 and had no issue, but 26 is crazy bad on steam
Yeah, i have the same problem. Sometimes in first half, sometimes in second, sometimes after one match, somtimes after couple of matches, sometimes when i open pack, sometimes match intro
Hi EA_Pulsar I think I have a workaround to the problem (frame rate drops after half time) - but after many games the problem returns randomly (might be certain pages in FC 26 that cause this with these specific settings? If not these settings - it happens on first game played.). After playing many games - maybe 10-15 games, but also going to many other screens - Objectives,
Firstly - my laptop is a ASUS ROG Strix G713QC - RTX 3050 4096MB GDDR6. Screen is 144Hz. If you purely play the games i think below settings are good - also, something is changing the setting below while in game. When I set this to Performance the game works well.
As of this writing my driver version is 581.57 (Oct 14, 2025) - latest released.
This is on Program Settings Tab. (I try to keep global settings same as well)
Below settings for driver works for me.
In the NVIDIA Control Panel - I first restore the both Global and Program Settings. Then make the same changes in both:
Anisotrophic filtering: Off
Low Latency Mode: Ultra
Max Frame rate: (-3 of Screen refresh rate - 141FPS on my 144) I saw this from a website that also has settings to configure - not sure if this works - anyone please clarify if this is needed.
Power Management Mode: Prefer maximum performance
Texture Filtering - Anisotrophic sample optimization: Off
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: Allow
Texture filtering - Quality: High Performance
Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization: Off
Threaded optimization: On
Vertical sync: On

It will help you to complete the game without incurring a loss - or in my case rage quits. It will give you a fighting chance.
