Silver cup 2 attempts lost???

Me and my friend played the new silver cup 2 together in co op and when we loaded in and connected to the game, when you have to choose kits, the opponent disconnects and I was kicked out of ultimate team. This then counted as an attempt? Can EA maybe fix their game I pay lots of money for that has all of these glitches. It’s embarrassing man. 
Please tell me if you guys are also experiencing it, and what can I do to fix it. I’m also currently on 11-11 record and I somehow have 3 games left??? Make it make sense.
