I can't believe my post was deleted. It contained no insults, only well-deserved criticism of EA.
If you found it unpleasant, there's a simple solution to avoid such feedback in the future: do your job better.
To the moderator: deleting messages does not fix the bug nor does it increase trust in the support team. The only professional course of action is to acknowledge the problem and provide information on its resolution status.
I will have to repost my message, as it contained important information. I still hope this was just a technical glitch, because the alternative would be utterly shameful.
I can confirm this issue exists in the game. Every time I launch the game, the menu runs smoothly. But as soon as I start a match in any mode, the GPU load jumps to 99% with terrible FPS drops.
I exit the match, and the GPU load remains at 99%. Now, even the menu is lagging (which was working fine before). I can fix it by repeatedly entering and exiting a match, and then going into and out of the Ultimate Team menu. I monitor my GPU usage, and at some point, it drops—this means the game has finally started working as it should, and I can then enter a match and play with smooth FPS.
This is direct proof that it's not a problem with my PC's capabilities, but rather an optimization issue from the developers. The game is putting a load on the GPU where it's not required. It's obvious that my workaround is not a real solution at all; sometimes it takes many cycles and a lot of time. It's absurd to have to waste time on this every time.
Furthermore, I can say for certain that it's not a driver problem. I've often seen people complaining with GeForce 1650s or 3050s. Well, I have a Radeon and I'm suffering from the exact same issues!
There have been many complaints about this on the forums since the game's release. We have to admit, the folks at EA are something else—they've been ignoring this for so long. But we must make them do their jobs as long as they're taking our money. I urge everyone facing this problem to come to this thread and simply reply every day that the issue is still not resolved. I believe it's better to have high activity in one single thread than to have many new threads with only a few replies each.
EA as a company is a complete disappointment! They either completely lack the ability to process feedback, or they are so irresponsible that they consciously ignore objective problems with their game until the information reaches a critical mass. A recent example: it took them a full week to fix a broken update on PC, and by that time, the thread about it already had hundreds of replies.
