I’ve been having a problem lately with Rivals and Squad Battles the game starts lagging like crazy and becomes unplayable. What’s weird is that Rush games work completely fine.
It’s not a PC or network issue (I already tested everything), so I’m guessing it’s something on EA’s side or maybe a recent update that caused it.
Anyone else having the same problem or found a fix?
Pretty much the same here, >3 months later, albeit now Rush also has crazy input lags, and/or freezes in terms of registering inputs. Tweaked everything I could at the BIOS, NVidia App, thermals, reducing graphics settings to bare minimums within the game (I have an RTX 3070 with decent cooling, so this shouldn't really be necessary), etc., levels, but to no avail. The game is just incredibly unstable; after almost 2 months of it genuinely being unplayable (no player in Rush being able to control their virtual player and everyone just running in random input-lagged directions), it was fine for a week or more, but now it's back to being unplayable at least in (consistently) Rivals but, (less consistently) generally in any UT mode...
(edit: it's not my internet either, in case someone comes up with that as the reason, I'm on fiber optic cables in a major city in Switzerland...)
I also came across this. I tried everything: reinstalled Windows, configured the nvidia panel, PC settings, bios... Nothing helps. For the time being, minimizing helps to limit fps to 60 frames and the refresh rate of the screen to 60
My game gets disconnected randomly at any point, while in menus, doing sbc, online games, squad battles.
Game is not optimised for pc
No shade, but if any game makes you feel like you need to reinstall your OS (that, generically speaking, otherwise works fine in nearly all other circumstances, and for playing other games) it's genuinely an issue with the game...
hey **bleep** in EA??? are u gonna find a solution or pay our money back for this idiotic game?
