Still unable to even open the game

I bought the ultimate edition on steam (even ea play twice to be able to play earlier) and at no point have I gotten further than the splash screen. Before I used to get an error message on ea after the game failed to open, now I don’t even get the error message it just crashes. Is there going to be a solution for this? There are statements that you have solved this so why can’t I still even open the game? So much extra money wasted to not even be able to play the game.
