Technical problems

I'm having problems playing with a friend of mine who is in America, I'm in Italy, he plays on PS5 and I play on PC, we both have cross play active and when we try to join the session the other one says "EALAYER_JOIN_PARTY_FAILED" and I don't know what to do to solve the problem, I tried setting privacy to everyone on all fields but it still gives me problems, please help me
