I've been having the same problem for days. I'll try downloading the PS4 version as you mentioned above. The strange thing is, it worked perfectly for a day, but then it went back to its normal state. I hope this problem is resolved soon. This game, which has already been losing its appeal in recent years, becomes even more frustrating with bugs like this.
