Transfer Market Issue: Can Buy but Cannot Sell

Platform: I bought the game on steam but I am currently using the ea app version because I bought the ea play pro subscription to sell my players.

Timestamps: It is hard to say because the issue started  probably over 2 months ago. The last time I got the error message was last weeks Thursday I think but I do not remember the time. The market is currently working for me because im on the ea app version. When my Ea play subscription runs out and I will return to steam the same issue will start (this has already happened once).

Additional information: I unlocked the market on the ea app version of the game which is why the market works on there. However I play on the steam version and there I can only buy players.

– The Transfer Market works normally on the PS4 version.

– On the PS5 version, the market does not work at all and keeps showing the buy/bid limit message.

– I unlocked the market through objectives and waited more than 24 hours without using it.

It all started before the game came out, Its my returning to the console, the last years I ve been playing on pc.

I bought the standard version preorder and every since I started playing it gives me that market warning, and I need to change to the ps4 version just to sell players, otherwise it gives me the warning and it logs out of the game.

Hi ​ EA_Claus​, thanks for looking into this. I’m still experiencing the issue, so here are the details you requested:

EA ID / PSN ID: Artfull-dodger26
Platform: PlayStation 5 (PS5)

Timestamp of first time the error occurred:
Wednesday, ‎September ‎24, ‎2025 (GMT+2)

Timestamp of most recent occurrence:
It has been happening consistently every day since the issue first appeared, including today [5-12-2025] (GMT+2).

Additional details:

• I unlocked the Transfer Market normally through the Foundations objectives and waited the full 24 hours without using the market.
• After the timer ended, I was able to buy players normally, but was unable to sell any players.
• On PS5, attempting to sell gives the message:
  “You’ve reached your limit on bid/buy actions. Please come back in 24 hours for full access.”
  The timer never moves from 24 hours.
• On PS4, the Transfer Market works completely fine — I can buy and sell normally.
• On PS5, the minimum price of every player is stuck at 150, and the maximum price is blank.
• Accessing or clearing items in the Transfer List disconnects me with the message:
  “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment.”
• I did not switch platforms before this error; however, I tested the PS4 version on my PS5 before the issue happened. The issue started the moment I tried selling for the first time after unlocking the market on PS5.
• I also tested the Web App / Companion App, and while I can buy players, I get a different error when trying to list items for sale.
• This has been ongoing for over three months now with no progress or change.

I’ve attached multiple screenshots to clearly show the errors and behavior on PS5.
