Unable to connect to UT

Hello, I’ve run into an issue logging into Ultimate Team on PC (Steam) that started immediately after the new season launched on July 9.

1)The game launches normally, but there is a delay when accessing the mode selection menu: the system does not respond to any button inputs for 20–25 seconds.

2)The EA App is working correctly; the friends list loads, and logging into the EA account proceeds without issues.

3) After entering UT or any other online mode, the game remains unresponsive for 20–25 seconds, followed by a lengthy connection process that ends with the same message: "Unable to connect to UT at this time."

I also checked the EA Web App. In most cases, a message appears upon login stating: "You cannot use the Web App because Ultimate Team is already being used on another device." I was able to log in to the Web App last night, but the in-game error persists.

Restarting the PC, clearing the EA service cache, switching internet connections, and verifying the integrity of the game files did not resolve the issue. Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you for the advice, but none of them have been able to solve the problem, and everything remains the same.

Another detail has been revealed: when I try to access The Season Pass menu from the games main menu, I receive the message: "Online Season Pass services are currently unavailabe".

    Hello I_Kai_Hartmann_I ,

Sorry to hear that you are unable to access Ultimate team. I know that there is usually a 20 sec delay to access the mode. Everyone has it even on consoles, that's expected to load the mode. However you shouldn't get an error one you get to the mode.

Below are some steps to try that had success in the past on PC:

    • Change your DNS to Google DNS
      • Open Control PanelNetwork and InternetNetwork Connections.
      • Right-click your active network connection and select Properties.
      • Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click Properties.
      • Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter:
        • Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8
        • Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4
    • Flush your DNS cache
      • Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
      • Run the following command:ipconfig /flushdns
    • Restart your PC
      • Restart your computer to ensure the changes are applied.

The other useful step is to delete your active squad on companion app so if you can try again and let us know if you see any improvements.
