Verification codes not sending to email for online access

I am trying to access online gameplay using a second user profile I have however when the EA verification code comes up on screen and says an email will be sent I never received this email. On my primary user profile I have had no issues and there are multiple options to get the code sent to such as mobile as a text message or a secondary email. However, on my secondary profile there is only the one option available and no matter how many times I resend the code the verification code email never arrives. Has anyone else experienced this issue and how can I overcome it ?
