Why do I get a loss when EA crashes?

Why do you still get a loss in a game that you are winning when EA servers crash? This is the dumbest thing going in this game and it’s still the same year after year. At most,  if I’m winning the game and it crashes I should just have to start the game over and play again. Why does it register as a loss? Will EA ever fix this dumb **bleep**? You are costing us rewards and wins with this crap. Enough already.
