Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition freezing in the Citadel lower market
I'm in the late game, about to go to Virmire. I have the assignment from the Citadel medic to go talk to her blackmailer in the lower market. However, I can't get down there because whenever I get close to accessing the lower market from any direction, the game freezes. Previously, it would freeze so hard it took my PC with it, but after changing from Nvidia game ready drivers to studio drivers (because I'm streaming it), it just freezes the game. So drivers were apparently PART of my problem, but not ALL of it. I've also done a file repair in the EA app. If there are any potential solutions to this, I'm all ears. Granted, this isn't absolutely necessary to finish the game (I think, this is my first playthrough), but that still cuts me off from a couple of assignments as well as a couple of shops.
