Mass Effect 3 (2012) crash as soon as menu shows.

Since yesterday I have the problem again that after I launch the game it crashes as soon as the main menu starts showing. Afterwards the EA app reports 'Failed to launch the game. An Error on our end...

    Unfortunately, the dump files do not contain any additional information that could help to identify the problem. 

    1. Make sure Steam and EA app are closed.
    2. Disable the internet connection of your PC.
    3. Go to your "C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect 3” folder.
    4. Move the "Save" folder and the "BIOGame” folder to your desktop. (The folders must be gone from the original path!)
    5. Test the game.
