The EA app itself is only compatible with Windows and macOS, not Linux.

You can try Lutris, its a computer game installations manager for Linux or Proton.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, I will try with Lutris but the more I read on this the more of a "hit or miss" this seems to be. It's very inconsistent.
