This is seriously disappointing. Could the OS be the problem if you're running Windows 7?
The minimum system requirements for MELE do include a 64 bit Windows 10, but normally games with that requirement also run on 64 bit Windows 7, so imho a other problem is more likely.

@holger1405Yea that's also what I thought. The majority of games will run on the *cough* superior Win7 OS with the exception of things like VR. I'm just hearing conflicting information. Regardless the fact that the game launching like this is abhorrent.
I'll get the "There was a problem with your game setup and you need to re-install" error message.

Minimum reqs of x64+Win10? All of the original games are 32-bit and maybe Win7?
Origin is 32-bit. It offered me MELE on Win7sp1 (x64).
It knows what OS and hardware I'm running on.
It offered it to me for D/L, and ~18 hours later, it said I could play it, and now...
"There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game."
How? It D/L'd from Origin? Did it save the installation files anywhere?
It's installed in the standard Origin folder -- and GUI is English with an ascii username.
Since mine was offered & D/L'd to my machine by Origin, you'd think they'd know what *exactly* what machine they are offering it to.
But more to the point, all the games run on this machine -- was just playing MEII when they offered me MELE.
