My Sims 4 Game Won't Launch.

I've tried reinstalling my game and this doesn't work. I do use mods, and I removed all my mods from my folder to see if it caused the issue, my game won't launch with or without my mods. I'm tried 'renaming' the folder to 'The Sims 4 Old', deleting the game and reinstalling it for it to create a new 'The Sims 4' folder, my game still does not launch. 

I have my game on Steam and when I click 'play' it tries to launch my game then doesn't and it goes back to 'play' on steam.

    the same thing is literally happening to me rn im so sad. do you think its because of the recent update? my game launched when i removed my mods and it worked but then i put em back n it just did the same thing again 🙏 i hope your problem gets resolved soon i'd love to know if anything worked out for you if possible!!

    Alveranga_  Do you have Steam's family sharing enabled?  If so, please disable it.

    Otherwise, please provide a dxdiag.  Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

    chloehit  It sounds like you've established the problem is something in your Mods folder, which means you'll need to sort through the contents of that folder.  For further help, please post in the Mods forum:
