I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
Community ManagerI'm very sorry for the frustration with this. This isn't a case of taking your money and then forcing your game to crash. We're not aware of any issues that would cause this is we are getting very few reports of this, but hopefully, we can get it resolved for you.
Can you try switching out your jerseys? Also, did you make any recent changes to your lineup? If so, try removing those players and see if it still happens. You also can try creating a new lineup with the same players and make it active. There was a TOTW a few weeks back where those players were causing the game to crash so it's possible there's a similar situation here.

It sounds like you're on Xbox. In that case, something else to try is deleting the personal saved data for NHL 23. Press the Guide button and then highlight the NHL 23 tile. Then, hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it. Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it. There is the risk of losing offline saves and changes to settings you've made. Normally, those download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee this. Community ManagerCan you try using different jerseys? Also, do you happen to have a custom gamerpic? I've seen some weird behavior from these in WoC. I know you're in HUT, but if you have a custom gamerpic, can you try a default one and see if that helps?

Since we're not getting other reports of this, it seems to be related to something unique with your install of the game. Is the game installed on an internal or external hard drive? Is it happening on both HUT Rush modes?
Community ManagerAs a test, can you try connecting your console through a mobile hotspot and then restart NHL 23 and try again?
Community ManagerIf it works on a completely different connection, that narrows down the issue more. I've seen a similar issue in the past where this was the case. You've got a strange issue here so I'm trying everything I can think of.

Unfortunately, if you're not interested in trying what I'm suggesting, it seems there's nothing I can do for you. I'll keep an eye out for other reports. Yeah same thing happened to me today I just dropped like 250 bucks on opening packs and EA shuts me down for the holidays after giving them my money what a joke. I called a kid a * and they shut my whole account down for 2 weeks and don’t do anything about it when I’ve called them countless times now all my holidays I can’t play any nhl hut at all after just giving them hundreds of dollars. Never buying this game again not like it used to be where you could just hop on and play hockey after a one time spend of 100 bucks on the game. EA is just out for your money lol.
Yeah same it banned me from online play so I figured I could at least do nhl but rush offline or squad battles offline but nope just keeps popping up an error code ridiculous
I am experiencing the same error. Been playing squad battles for hours trying to finish last few games and was only 3 away from completion and this error started. Tried everything you recommended in this thread but no luck. Hard shut down of Xbox one console no help either. Have been playing for months with no issue and then boom. Made no changes to lineup etc, and had been playing all morning. Really frustrating as hoped to finish in the top 50 for rewards, but now unable to complete last 3 games and will finish out of the top 100. Help? Note that after full console restart it asked if I wanted to use console save data or if I wanted to use the cloud, as said they were different, although the time stamp was identical.
