Can't spend preorder points

PS5, located in Japan. 

Every pack in the store only shows a coin price, there is no option to use the nhl points that were promoted in the preorder.

        Hey there. Where did you purchase the game from and what country are you in?

  • This is still outstanding nearly a day and a half into the prerelease. Looking for a fix or direct compensation, please.

    Hi there. Are you still having this same issue? If so, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

  • Hi, yes, I am. I tried the power cycle to no avail. In-game shop still looks like this (see attached file). Have a ticket with support, but there's been no rectification in 48+ hours, and the support website won't allow me to resume my case (it just kicks me back to the homepage every time I finish entering data).

      Are you able to purchase using points in the store on the Xbox website?

        There don't appear to be any points being sold from the Playstation store in my region at the moment.

        The in-game Purchase NHL Points tab leads me to a message that says:
        The item you're looking for is unavailable. It might not be for sale yet, or might no longer be for sale.

  • Just as a PSA for anyone with the same issues lurking here. This is still unresolved 34 days after pre-release. 

    The few users of you in Japan, be warned:
    Aljo informed me 16 days ago in DMs that he discovered "EA does not allow the ability to purchase packs with premium currency in Japan. Those points can be used in World of Chel though."

    Everyone else who is a paying customer, also be warned:
    This is not the time for anything more in-depth, but basically I was told the next day  (15 days ago) EA  was willing to give me packs to compensate for the points I paid for and am not able to use in HUT. I requested fantasy and supernatural event-related packs. 

    2 days ago I was finally informed they were on the way but it would "take a day or 2".

    I haven't received them. 

    39 hours left on the event timers before the packs become meaningless. Incidentally a full 5 weeks will have elapsed without any action. Hopefully there's a positive update to be made on this soon, but 'within reason' is long gone.

  • As an outro, over 4 days have passed now and I don't have these packs, so I've been hosed. There are 4 hours left in the events, but dropping the packs at this point would just be another slap in the face. Just about 2AM in Japan ATM and I gotta work in the morning.

    I've been misled, non-prioritized for 5 weeks, and had repeated pleas for urgency outright ignored. I feel like I'm being laughed at. I can't wrap my head around why EA would do this to anyone who has bought their products (since the 90s!).

    Nothing to do now but throw my already-earned resources into sets and hope that if these packs ever come I won't get any more BND dupes.

    This has been so disappointing and frustrating.
