Sims 4 won't start, it just opens Epic Games (Mac)
Hello,
So I've been searching around a bit and already tried several things, but here's the gist of it:
-I just recently installed Sims 4 on my Macbook via Origin
-No mods or anything, just the base game
-When pressing start, it opens up the Epic Games Launcher
-Sims 4 in Epic Games does not support Macbooks
-Nothing more happens
Things I found correlating to this issue:
-When you have Sims 4 added to your Epic Games account, it won't be possible to launch it again via Origin (some old post)
I have hence created a new Epic Games account as well, so that is empty of any games.
Sadly, that did not fix anything either. All that happens when I launch the Sims 4 is that I have to sign in to Origin, then Epic Games and then nothing happens.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here's the log if I open it up via the Unix Executable File within the Sims 4 Package (note that it also simply goes to Origin, then Epic Games, then nothing):

@Nysta8 Can you remove Sims 4 from your Epic account? Now that you've claimed it, the Epic version of Sims 4 is likely overriding your previous copy, and the only ways around that would be to remove the Epic version or unlink your accounts.
