[PC]Can't load the game + intel driver update.

I updated all my intel drivers and tried to run the game but this came up.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Detected Intel driver version #1 10.18.10.4358 12/21/2015 00:00:00:00 #2 10.18.13.6451 03/07/2016 00:00:00. The recommended driver version is xx.xx,15,4251 or later. Please update your drivers at http://dowloadcenter.intel.com/ before playing the game.

Do you want to try and run the game anyway? There may be stability, performance or visual corruption issues.

Ok     cancel

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I click ok and the game loades than crashes. The first time i clicked Ok the game loaded and i couldn't use my keyboard.

You do NOT have any option to do anything outside the video requirements.  You MUST use a computer with a working video device OTHER than from Intel.  No matter WHAT driver is used, those are still Mickey Mouse toys, not the real thing.  Laptops with an nVIDIA processor for video only have HALF of the real thing, and those GPUs also will frequently fail when faced with playing an EA game!

    Plants vs. Zombies: GW2

    MINIMUM
    OS: Windows 7 64-bit/ Windows 8.1 64-bit/ Windows 10 64-bit
    CPU: 3.20 GHz Intel i5 650/ 2.5 GHz AMD Phenom X4 9850
RAM: At least 4GB for Windows 7/ Windows 8.1/ Windows 10
    Hard Drive: 20 GB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640/ AMD Radeon HD 5750 (driver conflicts)
    DirectX: 11
Input: Keyboard and Mouse, Analogue Controller
Online Connection Requirements: 192 KBPS or faster internet connection

  • I have a 4th gen i5 processor, NVIDIA geforce GT 740 and 16gb ram on a computer not a laptop

According to your DxDiag, you have your display connected to the Intel chip's video port, NOT to the GPU's output port.

    ---------------
    Display Devices
    ---------------
Chip name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
           Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
         Name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740

  • So your saying that i have to go to a computer store and tell then to use the GPU instead of the intel chip?

@FirePhoenixBro -  if you're using a desktop instead of a laptop then it's possible that the graphics card just isn't connected properly inside the case if you're sure you have a dedicated one.

Whether or not you're happy to look into this further yourself would be up to you, otherwise someone at a computer shop should be able to fix the problem very quickly.

As @Gorath_the_Elder says, the DXDiag is only showing an intel chip for graphics which isn't powerful enough to run the game which is why you're having the issue. If you do have a dedicated GPU then you need to make sure your computer knows it's there.

I said no such thing.  The back of a desktop or tower type stationary PC has multiple ports for connections to accessories.  If you hired someone to come to your location where you have that computer sitting, to hook it up, you either hired a clown, or else someone else has been moving cables around on the back side since the original setup.

Here is an image, neatly labelled, although there is no IGP video port near the top -- next to the printer port, below the serial port.  The video card illustrated has a standard VGA port and also a DVI port, similar to a majority of Geforces.

    @FirePhoenixBro

Did you manage to correct your problem, finally?  If the two illustrations already attached didn't help, there are a great many more images to follow for guidance, in tutorials about setting up desktop PCs that are everywhere on the internet, in every known printed language.

Here's one with pictures, in English:  http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/desktop-pc/how-set-up-new-pc-3446210/

This is one of those images:
