Late to the party here but my ideal list would make one boss hunt available per season such as as sasquatch in summer, yeti in winter, and so on.
Anything is better than a random mixed mode no one cares about.

You are never late to this party! I can see the advantages of both. I do like the idea of one boss per season but it would have to be a good enough fight for the community that it doesn't get dull.
So with that being said, how would you prevent a "one boss per season" event from getting tedious and helping players keep interest in that one boss fight?

Apologies for the delay. There is a lot happening in the background. So, to address this one. Infor has been sent over to the correct teams who make these calls. We, the CMs have no actual say or visibility into if, when, or how they get implemented into games.
I understand that we want to see these changes sooner rather than later, so the question of when will it happen? In all honesty, we don't have an answer for it unless that info is given to us to provide to the players. At the moment there has been no update to any changes being made. This doesn't mean they won't be, it just means that currently, we cannot provide an update as there isn't one yet.
When we do though we will post that for you and let you know the info we have been given.

@EA_Shepard I never thought I'd see the day that this subject got traction again, been waiting four years for this and check periodically in the hope something would one day be done. I've been stuck on 98% due to missing a chest for my 5 community challenge chest trophy. If you guys could somehow restore not only boss hunts but also community challenges... oh man. I'd be over the moon. In all the years of having my account, it's the only unobtainable trophy I have!
Fingers crossed something comes of all this chatter.
For the last month and a half i have been playing with players who are new to the game, and i talk about boss hunts with them. They have never played these modes since they are new, and with a simple portal fix would be good for all of us. For the past year i have been searching for answers, and i have finally found a solution. I am really crossing my fingers that ea goes through with this. And they potentially will thanks to @EA_Shepard.
