@TheSprinter85I honestly hope you are right. There is just so much that has to be done to get the game back on track that I’m wondering whether EA will go the whole hog and get the game up and running again.
Even if we don’t get it all back then as long as they get the Boss Hunts with the associated bots back and in addition fix the hacking I believe I could live with a denuded GW2.
Have noticed that rather than EA_Shepard responding to queries, we are now seeing EA_Illium and EA_Barry doing the job. I wonder why. Sorry if I sound excessively paranoid about this, but is EA_Shepard giving too much hope to the Community?
It's good to see discussions on these games be move active! I'll have to also be more active to join in the discussions that are popping up more often as well.
I have to agree with the others here of course, we need better events in the mystery portal in GW2! People need their trophies, so we need boss hunts and cats vs dinos, and we want the more enjoyable events like capture the taco and soil survivors. We really don't need lawn-a-thon with speed boost for the umpteenth time!
GW2 is one of those rare gems that many of us still play even after unlocking everything. The first GW game is great too, but it doesn't have the Backyard Battleground or as much PvE stuff as GW2 has to do, and GW2 has proven it can keep people enjoying it (barring some issues like hacking on PC of course), for years after being put in maintenance mode.
With the sudden attention after so much silence, I hope this means we have good news for these great shooters (and I include BfN in this, even if it just can't measure up to GW and GW2), but especially for GW2 and one dares to wish for a potential GW3 in the future. Better GW2 mystery portals would be one thing the community needs.

I think this is pretty clos to what we had and i did not repeat events except cats vs dinos and community challenges because those are needed for trophies and boss hunt comes up 4 times.
@DeathBuggIs one of the community challenges related to soil survivors? I would hate for it to be left out since it is a very unique mode.

Really fun mode where the matches were best of 5 and they never dragged long since the arena size shrinks, you couldnt regen naturally, and downed players are unrevivable if I remember right. Made sticking together and protecting teammates (especially healers) a priority. AI also joined if teams were uneven and they were alright.
Kind of like bfn's battle arena on actual maps but you're not barred from a certain class after playing them.
Shame many have never experienced it since 2018
I still remember everyone fearing it was to cash in on the battle royale hype. To think that use to be the biggest gripe people had back in the day before it even released.
This Mystery Portal change is starting to seem within our reach and it is exciting! Well, this already was the case but this is even more so true now. I've already been starting to plan out Boss Hunt strategies because I'm getting keen ... 💡

If we end up seeing the changes to the Mystery Portal and we see the Boss Hunts return, I will create a guide for each one which will hopefully help newbies and returning players complete them.
@EA_Shepardbased on your experience working with EA, do you think the mystery portal will be fixed in time for us to play the yeti king boss hunt this December?

If I say yes in any way, then some could misinterpret that as it will happen which is why dev teams don't allow people to say yes or no unless it's an official response. So that is why those questions are tough.

Is it okay to ask if you were appointed by EA to have a more involved role in the pvz community?
@TheSprinter85Agreed, they need to bring back boss hunt this Christmas, because right now the PVZ franchise is practically on life support, and the only thing that can reignite interest in PVZ is to change this damn mystery portal.
