Community ManagerSorry to say, a missing feature does not make a game bad, but far too many people showed hate and resentment for BfN for absolutely no reason!!! Fact is, it is a brilliant game, it has improved upon many things that were frustrating and slow in GW1/2, don’t get me wrong, those games are great too, but the hate towards BfN was not warranted, I play on Switch, it’s been available for over 3 years now, and is still going very strong, many thought it would only last a few months, what was missing from BfN that everyone loved about GW2? Achievements? Rewards? What exactly? What I do know, it will not change the gameplay if it was implemented into BfN, if everyone supported BfN, you could’ve kept asking for this missing feature, and chances are it would’ve been implemented since gaming companies do see what people say and ask for and often give us what we want, but because of the hate, you wrecked, not only your chances, but all our chances of getting updates or a new game.

Bfn failed because the game had no marketing, nada, zilch and the studio was hemorrhaging money after the scrapped and cancelled projects! We've had knowledge of this for months now!
No offense but I don't want to freaking hear about the fans are the problem for the behind the scenes corporate bs one more gosh dang time!
Also we did ask for missing content in bfn and took then months to ever act on it.
Solo play a base gw2 feature was not in the game for months DESPITE the fact that they were already using AI for gamemodes in battle chests AND put AI backfill in the games. We still dont have solo ops with bot teammates. And that's even going into how badly they butchered ops and the spawnables system
Nobody gave up on bfn just because it wasn't gw3. They gave up because of how absolutely tedious the game was during those months yet how slow actual content out even before Covid. No offense again but the amount of people who also seem to have selective amnesia when it comes to all of that infuriate me.
I was there for the days before switch and when prize bulbs had to be grinded for with 10,000 xp for just one on unstable servers. That was not fun.

@stukapooka Oh please 😂😂 ok champ, we both know it’s more than just “a few people”, we’re talking thousands upon thousands of people and 10 times more comments, the hate and resentment, meaning word of mouth is exactly what sunk the series because people didn’t buy BfN because of these unwarranted comments, you even said yourself, you could chew thru a steel beam with amount of resentment you have for the series since 2019, the year BfN was released, so people like you, your bad word of mouth, your comments, contributed to the failure of a fantastic game!
BfN has lots of fantastic events, Oops, Too Many Players, Team Vanquish, Boss Team Vanquish, Boss Turf Takeover, Garden Warfare, Surburbination Isolation, Power Team Vanquish, Rando Comfirmed, Gnome Bomb, all great events, sure Satellite Takeover isn’t much different, but there’s nothing wrong with it!
Regardless if missing content was asked for, it doesn’t happen overnight, you know it takes many months and they have to be sure it’s worth their time.
We both want the series given the respect it deserves, it’s easily one of the best series out there, I’m know you agree with that!
