Pogo Slots: Pyramid

The challenge is win 40,000 coins before the event ends. I had bet 900 for a 10 spin game and was lucky enough to get the Extra Spin Feature 3 times; also had the Picker twice .. had at least 53,000 coins when I got the Quest card, but it did nothing ... offering me to buy  999+ Gems to finish the game??  If I did that I wouldn't be able to buy any food for at least 6 months! Do people really do that? I digress, the game froze ... didn't matter what I pressed it did nothing, so all that work down the drain cos a game freezes! So whatever I earned during those spins was lost as well .. I'm furious to say the least. I could've finished that challenge then. So now gone back to where I was up to before the freeze and yes  for an outlay of 900 coins for a 10 spin round only getting pays of 26 coins .. doesn't seem fair does it!  Why are all the games freezing?
