for me it's the footplants, they might as well not be in the game anymore because ever since the overhaul they look and feel horrible so sadly I can't do them or use them in my clips anymore, the animation makes you come to a dead stop despite momentum and then it magically shoots you ridiculously high and forward that defies logic resulting in a very clumsy awkward looking animation.
I have never agreed with another forum poster as much as I do you. ~1 Month ago we had golden age footplants. They clipped into the ground a little but at least they were FULLY DIRECTIONALLY CONTROLLABLE, YOU COULD TILT MID-AIR AND FOOTPLANT CORNERS OF BOXES/COPING and GO BACK THE WAY YOU CAME.
Now, it's just *footplant from 100ft. forward momentum takes you* It went from being a super versatile trick that made skating more fun to now it's just a STUCK animation with FORCED momentum. They're doubling down on it too I bet w/ s5 they're going to be even STURDIER and less CONTROLLABLE
