Cannot get on boat again. Help**

I was able to complete training and get on the boat to leave the island you train on and head to the city. I got to explore the city and the skate shop. Then the game kicked me out. After restarting the game I cannot  go back to the city. I don’t even see the icon. I tried everything from restarting to jumping in the water. I believe I am stuck because I last used the session marker on the training island. So It always takes me to the island when I restart.

EA what do I do??
