Offline Mode?

Has there been any more discussion about potential offline modes?

Kinda seems like with all of the ongoing queue issues, it's a good time to bring this up again... 

Yes, I know this game was always intended to be online only... Yadda, yadda... 

But, a stripped down offline sandbox / park creator shouldn't be too much to ask for... And it would give players something to do when the servers go down for maintenance... OR, can't log in for whatever reason... 

At the very least... Even if we can't get true offline modes... Maybe just a sandbox lobby, while waiting to login...

Something other than "274,233 players in queue - 18mins remaining"... Because that splash screen is pretty bleak...
