Quick Feedback November 2025
A few things I really want to see in the game:
- Spot Battle - We need spot battle back immediately. Ranked, unranked, leaderboards, super mega location
- S.k.a.t.e - a game of skate in a skateboarding game? Easy money
- Vert contests/Jam - previous games had vert contests with actual crowds around you. Very exciting. If you win you get to unlock exclusive event outfits. For example if the vert contest is covered with Vans sponsorships on the ramps and area you unlock Vans gear.
- Street contests/Park - same idea as above
- Teams/Crews - Skate 3 had teams. This game loves talking about imaginary crews like the DaKs that you never see skating around because they don't exist in the game yet. Let's have a story mode feature where you can join the DaKs. Unlock exclusive crew clothing and decks by completing crew challenges. Please add NPC DaKs crew members skating around the area where they are meant to be. The game feels more alive
- Pro skaters - add pro skaters to the game!!! Walk up to them and start a pro challenge or tutorial or a game of s.k.a.t.e. This was so much fun in the previous games. Imagine walking up to Ryan Sheckler and starting a pro challenge. Then when you complete this pro challenge you unlock a new sponsorship. Or even a new location like Shecklers skatepark. Or unlock a new video part which they created for the game. Add some real skate culture. We don't care about baggy cargo pants
- Improved Vert - faster speed on ramps, faster spin without holding beforehand, bigger air. Yes I know how to pump correctly and I'm having fun playing. Added height and more speed would add more fun
- Rewards for throwdowns
- Actual story mode - the game right now is an extended tutorial. Literal bird poo. Come on guys you can do better. It's not hard to add in sponsorships, pro challenges, actual games of skate in a skate game, NPCs, cutscenes, a little life into the game. Put your skater eyes to the test and add some competitions. Cut the lame loot box trash
- Tattoos - walk in tattoo shop. Purchased with in game currency from winning competitions/events
- Halloween event was fun but the created 'community' parks didn't flow well and the inside vert sections you would constantly hit the roof and bail. The cosmetics were frustrating. The best cosmetics were locked behind a pay wall and the only available cosmetics to purchase with event currency were pretty bad and a lot of left over currency to spend but nothing to spend on.
- Final thoughts - I love this game. Thank you for making a great game. As of right now it is lacking in game modes. The challenges are too repetitive and become boring quickly. I don't want to play the same challenge every day. The line challenges are the worst. Stepping off of your board should NOT stop the challenge. Bailing off the board should be the only reason to instantly restart the challenge. I hate the bearings. They are hard to see sometimes on a first run through. Session challenges are my favourite because they are close to a competition. The thing I want the most right now is competitive spot battle. I also miss being able to own the spot and killing the spot. I dislike the stunt challenges. Hall of meat was better. I miss doing pro challenges, competitions, video parts, magazine photo challenges and earning money in game to enter shops and buy the clothing I want. The movement in this game is amazing. I'm having fun just skating around but honestly it feels like it's missing so much content from previous games and this is disappointing. I know this early access and things will be added. As a long time player since skate 1 I just want to share my thoughts and hopefully some of these things can be added. Also more hair colours and options. The recent music added was awesome. Finally I'm loving the game but we need more competitive online pvp modes. Open that stadium up, add a super mega park and spot battle. Easy :) skate 1 had x-games and we have? Throwdowns? Lmao
