R2 Not Working

Hi guys. I have tried on ps5 and my PC to get R2 on my controllers to work for skate4. I have tried everything and it will not register in game to crib the board. It will sometimes work doing tricks but won’t grip the board. I can’t progress pass the 4th mission because I have to grip my board with R2 and I can’t. My controller works on all games but skate. Bought a new controller, still doesn’t work. I reset both my console and PC. Nothing. Reset my controllers. Nothing. Redownload the game. Same issue. Help guys. I stream and can’t really give a review and all of that when I can’t even get past the 4th mission.
