STOP CATERING TO THE FEW THAT LIKE THIS GAME!
This game has been awful since its early access release. And I’ve seen that I’m not the only one who has had a terrible experience with the new Skate. I’ve been trying to have an open mind about this game, but it’s been a terrible experience every single time. I don’t think I get any more than 20 minutes before I can’t handle it anymore. It feels sluggish and delayed. The graphics look atrocious (see attached), and a boneless is called a fastplant when you do it. R2 + square is supposed to be a boneless, but it’s not, even though it says it is in Skatepedia. So not only is the game not enjoyable, it has tricks incorrectly named. I absolutely hate that it’s online only. I don’t understand why we’re being forced to play online and why the developers WILL NOT add an offline option. Vee is absolutely irritating, so I’ve shut her off from the start. I thought this game was supposed to represent and stay true to the culture of skateboarding? If that’s the case, why am I seeing clips with fox and chicken costumes? I’ve been skating for 20 years, and I can tell you this isn’t the skateboarding culture. I’m typing all of this just to be ignored by the developers and for nothing to be changed. The progression of this game is just going to continue to get worse, and that’s just sad. This game is basically Fortnite with skateboards, and that’s dreadful. Stay true to your franchise if anything. If I were new to this franchise, I wouldn’t even think this game was a part of the legendary Skate franchise! This has been a very disappointing experience for a game I was so immensely excited for.
