I Need Help Lift/Hit Skills - Jedi Survivor Bug :(

I need help forcing or fixing Lift and Hit skill bug I'm playing on Xbox. 

I get to the point in the game where you're shown the new 'Lift/Hit' mechanic. there are two turrets and a door where the game asks you to use the new abilities, but the game doesn't allow me to use the 'focus' mechanic (Xbox series S) neither in the turrets nor in the door. The game has blocked me because I can't move past the door or back up because you drop into the area and I can't go back. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? I need help
