accidental chromium

To clarify I did purchase a chromium in the stated time frame in SBCrumb’s message and I certainly like the new bronzium location. I’m just posting here to help inform others to possibly expect 175 crystals instead of 350.

This is great, and I very much appreciate the refund. I just got my crystals back, though it took a while to convince the rep that this was a valid thing.

I agree it’s a nice gesture. I posted earlier on a different thread to say that I had bought a chromium accidentally. For me it’s not a big deal and I don’t want a refund. But it’s nice to this is available. Thank you @CG_SBCrumb!

@CG_SBCrumb This. I also lodged an issue on EAHelp, after struggling through lodging it, I had someone tell me refunds aren't given out.

The better option from this would be to say "we are adding in a confirmation box when you spend crystals to prevent accidental spending."

Because that's the real culprit here, if there was a 2nd window we had to confirm to spend crystals, this would have been avoided :) Just like the time I accidently'd away 1,400 crystals on some gear I didn't need... I didn't whine or complain about it, just took it as it is. A confirmation window would be greatly appreciated

I would like to point out that there was no advance notice that the pack was going to be moved and the patch notes went up on the forum at 23:17 GMT. The shop resets at 00:00 GMT.
So in those 43 minutes we're supposed to stop everything we're doing and read the patch notes before resuming playing the game and doing something on auto-pilot that we've been doing every day at 00:00 for years?
To me that sounds a little unreasonable.
Are you seriously saying that every time a new patch comes along you don't touch anything until you've read the patch notes? Nothing at all? You've not even once thought "I won't read the forum post for this new character as it's a lot more fun to discover a new character's potential in-game"?
How about for all your other games or is this the only one where you have to read the patch notes first?

There was an ingame message about it.

To be honest, I don't remember when the in-game message showed up but I do know that I wouldn't have made that mistake if I had seen the message first.

How is it "ill-gotten gains" when it was given by the official support after I clearly and accurately described the situation?
Anyway, I wouldn't really mind if they decided it was a mistake and took it away, it was much more than I expected.

No, there's no point in wasting. If they wanted me to have a chromium, they could have given it directly. Or an appropriate number of shards, which I actually suggested in the ticket.

So you beg for something like a spoiled child and when given it you do not use the payment to the asked for purpose. I call that ill-gotten crystals.
