They deleted the only raid that had a relic barrier. I'm not sure what you mean.
I am talking about how the new raid has relic barriers for different tiers of the raid. I was under the impression that you could increase tiers to improve your score, but I am unable to use the same team because all the characters are not relic (x).
Example - I can cap points for Teir 4 with a Jabba team, but I cannot try Tier 5 because my tram isn't fully R7
The incremental gates and rewards are arguably better than a hard barrier for entry where you get no rewards if you don't finish. I think it's a vast improvement as far as being player friendly. I know this doesn't look like much but this team helped me get a better personal crate.
It's nothing to write home about but it's definitely not nothing, especially considering the almost total lack of investment in this team.
Now if you were capping with that team with ease, but had to spend months of investment to get to the next tier and hold off everything else you were doing, would you do it?
Getting 200k+ with gear 11 and 12s isn't hard, but getting full teams to R7 when you are maxed out at R5 is a lot harder. Why are the relic barriers to increase tiers even there?
