Reduce Miniboss and Boss difficulty
Reduce Treasure Room difficulty
I am going with it was intentional since they did state "fixed" or "corrected" - You're giving them too much credit. They did 0 testing. As per usual.
- braskme2 years agoNew SpectatorIt was intentional. They wanted to push consumables, and the only way to do that is to force players to use them by creating very difficult boss battles. I wouldn't mind using them if they were free in the consumables nodes, like data discs, but they weren't, so no thanks.
Now if they could just dial down the difficulty in the DS fleet battles in TB to a sane level too... - The only question I have ist this: If it really was intentional, will they now slowly up the difficulty step by step in hopes we don't realise it as much?
We already sometimes do have posts where people ask if the difficulty was increased and if others don't feel the effect of it instantly because the creep will be gradual, they have better mods or higher Relics, they will think it's all good and tell those users so. - Crispy5082 years agoSeasoned Adventurer

Exactly! They learned from their mistake of increasing it too much at once, and now will do it more slowly, which will be harder to detect. Insidious - DaarthBrewer2 years agoSeasoned Novice

I am going with not intentional, given that the S1 sector bosses each had a feat to beat without GL's or force users. Putting these as feats when the bosses were virtually unbeatable with the exception of 1 GL and a couple of other team comps, screams to me that it was a mistake. The vast majority of those posts are baseless. The current conquest issue does not add any credence to them.
When the entire community noticed that this Conquest was overtuned, CG listened and responded swiftly. They should not do that every time someone posts “the Krayt Dragon got buffed”.
You seem to have misunderstood me. The reason why I mentioned people posting about the difficulty is for that exact reason. In most cases it is baseless so people get used to posts that are not warranted. Like the boy crying wolf...
Also people just noticed because it was a huge difference in difficulty and like I said, if they slowly up the difficulty it will not be immediately noticed by everyone. Combine this with someone posting they detected an increase (in case it got increased) and they would be seen as exactly someone who is just imagining this because others maybe didn't notice so they think that person is one of those whom make a baseless assumption.
Also on a sidenote I never said anywhere CG should change the difficulty just because someone makes a post if they didn't change anything. Don't know where you got that from. I was talking about a situation where they actually increase it.
