Galactic Chase Drop Rates

Yes, even 8 year olds know that

The event starts when your day resets (i assume) as my reset is midnight and thats when it popped up for me.
I had a bit less then 1000 shards, bought 2 resets for the new day and got 59/ 80 when simming the 16 energy nodes. I figured i may as well work on my scavenged pieces too.

64 attempts have gotten me 41 shards.
Drop Rate: 64%

I'm doing a 16 energy node to get relic salvage as well havent calculated that drop rate though. I'm sure over the course of the 4 days it will probably equalize to around 64% or s (edited based on information recently received thank you littleMAC77) .

If you always do a 16 energy node it should actually equalize to 64%, because that is 16*4%, which is the stated drop rate for chase shards.

I’m going to try to keep track of my drops over the next few days and update them here.

So far at 118 shards from 2968 energy.

If we are looking at building a sample size here, I can chip in too. 39 shards for 720 energy spent, a (currently pleasantly surprising) 5.41% drop rate per energy.

normal Hard nodes have a estimated Shard drop rate of 33% based on crowd-sourced data on tens of thousands of sims

No, wrong one.

I’m actually getting 80+% on 16 energy nodes. I had 3 days of 3 refreshes saved up and did 3 refreshes today, whatever that amounts to, I didn’t write it down BUT I did the math this morning and it was 80someodd%.
