Heroic or Normal Rewards

Bit underwhelmed by the heroic rewards apart from the GK shards. The correct salvage pieces rarely drop. My alt runs normal and the rewards seem similar.

I am yet to craft a piece of the AAT raid gear. Either a full piece has dropped in the raid or i have saved up crystals and bought them from the shipment store

Ran heroic 9 times so far and haven't crafted a single usable piece either. Have placed 10-20 each time. I have 600+ of some pieces and max 38 of a piece I need that doesn't drop in the challenges.

I get that it's supposed to be slow but zero after 9 raids?

Yes I feel like the major difference in rewards is the GK shards. Otherwise they are the same and rare to drop gear we need. If they do drop Tank Raid gear, I get 12.

credits and GK shards. The gear sucks overall and I never finish lower than 5. Most of the time it is gear from the daily challenges. Tournament gear drops are superior, imo.

This is one of the biggest dissapoints about raids, especially the heroic tank. You should be getting really good gear and daily challenge gear shouldn't even be in the drops. I already have 300 pieces of that gold gear, thanks. It was the same for the Pit raid too. You could finish 40th and get a fully crafted piece, while the guy in 4th got crap.

Ignoring the OP (sorry) yeah, I've been #1 a few times and place in the top 5 pretty much every time (depending on schedule :tongue: ) and I've yet to get enough to craft a piece. I think one of them I have 35 pcs after all this time. Some of the drops for that yellow gear, in top spots, is like 4 pieces.

I guess they get you with using crystals to buy stuff... but, IDK, feels like a lot of effort and the return is mostly the guild coins (then you use can buy exactly what you need).

To the OP -- honestly, got full made raid gear in low positions in tier 6 Rancor when we used to do that and was really happy and then I've gotten malarky in the #1 spot (except shards) so luck has more to do with it then anything.

S, the answer is whatever option lets you run the most raids, fastest increase, your chances the most.
