They could have made the version of Thrawn, who had the tags "Imperial Remnant" and "Nightsisters", into a legend. And the pirates would get their own fraction and we would get a new raid without legends, like the raid "Battle for Naboo" before.
That’s totally what I was expecting to happen. The guy that played Thrawn nailed it and the imp-remnant/nightsister combo is great new class that’s not getting the love it deserves . Thrawn’s story is well know in canon and legends and loved by many. I just assumed GL Ashoka meant that a GL Thrawn was gonna follow. I guess that was too easy and woulda made fans too happy.
