The rebels have tons of named characters that can all fly, we have x-wings belonging to biggs, wedge, RP, and Poe. We can give a Y-wing to Rebel pilot when he comes out, or an A wing, or B wing. yeah they have a few problems too but for the most part rebels and light side have ships covered. Well not sure how much is considered cannon vs EU or how much it matters....But the Royal Guard flew an interceptor squadron.Maarek Stele could be released as he basically was qualified to fly any sort of tie. All the droid ships (technically they're not piloted, but I'm sure they can come up with a viable descriptor). Seems there's still plenty of room before DS runs out of pilots too. Of course, if you're speaking specifically of Empire, then you'd need to give Veers a ship (and he's a general, so no real room there), and RG's ship, and even then you don't have a full Empire fleet. So you'd have to introduce Krennic for the basic 5, and you'd need a further 4 for a full Empire reinforcements. Or they could do what they should have done from the start, and make Tarkin work with any DS ship.

honestly didn't know that RG was a pilot. EP wasn't a pilot of the imperial shuttle i would think though, but as sidious he probably has a fighter (how else would he go on secret missions?)

I'm most curious to see who pilots a Tie Striker and Bomber as well as the A and B wings. I dont want to see game flooded with generic pilot toons but so far (for the first 21 ships anyway) they have yet to make a toon pilot a ship that the character was not actually the pilot of. I fully expect Royal Guard to pilot a red interceptor (which had extra hull and shields) and someone else will pilot the regular one.

If you notice they are actually called crew members not pilots. There are some ships that have multiple crew members. EP could be a crew member of a 2+ crew member imperial shuttle

I wouldn't mind some of the more random characters appearing as crew - maybe a way for some of the less used toon to get some life?
