- SnakesssOnAPlane9 years agoSeasoned AceThere's been an updated lockout for well over a month now. If this is new it's even a stronger prevention program. There's always those few trying to scrounge up every last bit of shards and rewards they can. You know, those folks that have like barely any roster, yet they have a 6 or 7* GK well before those who were busting their butts giving their all to their home guild.
- It has to be recent, we just had a few people merc our first haat kill a couple days ago. You think they woild announce. Something like this, but it is a "it's a trap" update
- I just don't understand. What is there to gain? From secretly editing update notes, to not even mentioning big changes (like the end of mercenaries in raids - most recent update). We're bound to find out, and it just makes people more mad.
- What do you mean by "ending mercenaries in raids"?
- Yes, some type of formal announcement would be nice along with an explanation. We received help in finishing our first; in turn I paid it forward to help another guild get over the hump. The devs need to consider that most guilds want to do it themselves and only call in help because of the resources, time, and morale that would be lost. The tank has destroyed many guilds. When I hopped to help it had nothing to do with rewards, and I would gladly do it again even if it meant no rewards, but due to this change I would not even be allowed to participate.
- What is the change exactly? I can't find it and from what I've read others say it only keeps them from getting the raid rewards, not keeping them from helping

As of this most recent update, they changed raids so that the only people who can participate, are those who were in the guild at the time the raid was launched.

Thanks for clarifying, ignore my last reply- Maybe it should have been that way from the start. I remember the fiasco when the pit raid first started and all the guild hopping that was going on .
- That only ends merc pillaging, not mercing. Some people are willing to help without rewards. Sorry but I for one like the change, keeps people with weaker overall rosters from entering raids and getting RH or GK shards for minimal work before leaving to hit the next guild in a few days.
