Leviathan + Dagger vs Leviathan + Dagger

Why do I go second in 4/5 battles every day? As I understand it, you have the RNG set up incorrectly in this fleet. And you don't want to do anything about it, because it's broken. Why fix what's broken? That's right, don't fix it.

  • They have intentionally broken fleets with the Dorito update and nerfing the DS fleets. Choosing a coinflip counter isn’t a good idea, even when using Reaper. Use Profundity to counter Leviathan. It’s also a “QOL” improvement as don’t have to watch the annoying animations for almost 4 to 5 minutes.

  • Apparently, everyone except me likes to go second and hope for RNG. After all, it's so nice to play on a broken Leviathan.

My feeling is that I go first about 50% of the time, when facing another GL9 6x6A Leviathan. I have never felt the need to accurately measure it, since it seems ok, especially since there is a chance to turn it around later in the battle.

It has increased the amount of time I spend in Fleet Arena on a daily bases, but I don't think it has doubled my average time, so I think this is acceptable for a new meta. Adjusting to change is part of the game, and more than likely there will be something new shiny to beat the Leviathan soon enough, so no need to get too hung up on the P1/Dorito change.

Nothing seems broken, unless you expect a 100% win rate.

You know this is going to be in GAC and TW too?  Are you ready to coinflip GAC, play for an hour, beat 15 3v3 battles and then lose on a ship coinflip? Yes, I do expect to be able to win 100% or at least the vast majority when all the factors are in my control vs an AI.  I should be able to create a roster that can beat the computer's.  That's sort of the point of the collection game, to make my collection better than yours, and if we're even then it should come to skill not a #$%@# coin filp.

    1. Use Profundity with MK6 as RI....90% win rate if you use the right strategy
    2. Use Levi Dagger mirror with Reaper as 1st RI and you should win as it takes away TM from enemy ships on RI / death.

Profundity vs Leviathan? Are you serious? But more often there are situations where there are 5 Sith ships with Foresight.
That's why I write that the developers don't want to fix their own game because they don't play their own game. Or they play on a test server where they put up G1 opponents with 1 star.

he is serious, it does work well for Arena climb, but it's not exactly viable in GAC

GAC is the real problem with the Fleet disaster.    One bad coin flip and you'll most likely lose the match.   I got away with losing fleet battles due to the coin flip in 3 V 3 because many people don't participate.    It will be way different in 5 V 5.

CG needs to get ready for even more screams of frustration.

  • And so the GAC began. And since the developers never fixed Leviathan, I'll have to write here again and again. After all, the developers deliberately broke the meta-fleet so that it couldn't win in mirror matches in 99%.
We broke the fleet so that they would bring us more money. - such is the motto of the developers who don't know their game as well as we, the players, know all its subtleties.
I'll repeat myself. By adding just 1 line to Dagger's abilities, we can fix this malfunction. But the developers don't need it.
Yesterday I lost 4/5 matches again. And all because of the broken RNG, which the developers do not want to fix.

The mirror itself is not that bad, but there’s 2 things that’s beyond stupid.

    1. leviathan’s literally useless ult. So I have half the enemy ships on yellow hp, I ult and instead of screwing them up even further THEY HEAL TO FULL HP! Who’s the “genius” that made and tested this bs? The ult should AT LEAST put non removable heal block on all enemy ships.

    2. 2) and with all said above there’s the 2nd problem - the time. Usually ult on any side happens around 2 min 30 sec mark +/- 10 secs. So you have 2 and a half mins to destroy usually 4 ships that can both heal and auto remove debuffs. Not even mentioning MK6 restoring himself.

I agree and would like to add a few things.

      1. I don't mind the 50/50 chance on who goes first. If I go first, great. If the enemy ship goes first, it happens. What bugs me is that the current Levi mirrors are too dependent on who goes first. If you go first, you can put it on auto for most of the battle. If you go second, you're doomed. Even with the Reaper strategy, it's still too RNG dependent. Even if you go first the following two turns, the enemy reaching the Ult is game over for you.
      2. If the enemy Levi uses the Ult, each time a reinforcement shows up, two of your ships are stunned instead of just one. Aside from that, each time the enemy Mk6 shows up, it immediately uses its basic and nukes one of your ships, meanwhile your Mk6, if you for any reason have the battle on auto, just keeps using its specials and wasting time. Also, once the enemy SFighter, multiple ships end up gaining Foresight, not just the ship(s) that have attacked - e.g., the enemy Dagger attacks, both the Dagger and the Fighter get Foresight.
      3. Unless I'm mistaken, this is supposed to be a game and we're supposed to be players enjoying said game. This isn't a murder trial. I understand accusing someone of cheating, it could get the other player in trouble if it ends up being a misunderstanding, so some kind of solid proof is necessary. I can understand warnings against deliberately rude or offensive language, be it in the forums or the game itself. I also understand if it's a noticeable bug that hasn't occured before or in other game modes, like Gungans not being immune to Protection Disruption in the Naboo Raid, it's advisable to post a screenshot. But we should be able to voice our opinions on whether something seems unfair or different without having each word shut down at best or scrutinized at worst. If we end up being wrong, we're wrong. But if we feel the Naboo raid, for example, is more difficult than usual because of the incessant RNG, or if we feel that the enemy Levi is going first far too often, we should be able to speak without having to back it up with cold hard data. I repeat, we're players. Not developers or detectives or lawyers or whatever else.
  • Yesterday, I was second in the first 5 battles in the fleet arena. Then I bought additional attempts to update the battles and was first twice.

Did the developers decide to look at the forum or was I lucky? In any case, the RNG is broken, since I was second again in TW and calling TIE Reaper did not help and the opponent's Leviathan ulted. And the developers do not allow me to replay the battle. Although they could have given it with the same composition.

Let me remind you that only 1 line in Dagger's skills will allow you to return to the diversity of Leviathan compositions.
