Is it still hopeful since that person is no longer here and the new regime seems to hate us?
That person was a community manager and AFAIK made no decisions about gameplay.
Regardless, people have said every regime hates us.
The people that started the game and were running the game back then actually seemed to want to provide a fun gaming experience and make money doing it.
The people running the game now figured out they don’t need to make it a fun gaming experience to make money. People will spend no matter what they do, so they drastically reduced the staff and all they care about now is money and not a fun gaming experience.
