The new gear pieces are a blatant slap in the face to FTP and PTP. They claimed it was to alleviate the flow of stun guns and mkIIIcarbantis, yet they could've just done that with MkIV Carbantis and Mk7 detonators.

The event can be done. But, yeah, the gear wall kind of sucks.

I'm starting to think zetas are required for this, I have none on Mission or Zaalbar.

I had a zeta on Mission, no zeta on Zaalbar. Eventually it worked.

Crystals do not always equal money. If someone has all the prerequisites to unlock Malak, I'd assume they have a team that can climb to top 10 in arena every day. Save those crystals as you acquire Malak shards and use it on that exclusive gear...

The gear for Malak isn't the payday. The spend to achieve necessary characters at the necessary gear levels is. The payoff should be high arena rank, more crystals, then exclusive gear. If anything it's a gift to P2P because he doesn't require 8 carbantis that could be applied elsewhere
