No Galactic Legend Hondo Ohnaka. Just add him to the journey guide

Why just dont put him as a simple character which unlocks from the journey guide?

Hypothetically Galactic Legends are the more powerful characters in game. And now a Pirate will be winning Jedi and Sith? Without using the Force how is possible to face Jedi Master Luke, Lord Vader, Jedi Master Kenobi etc etc? So many people have failed to confront those through the history of Star Wars, and now a weak Pirate will be able to win them???

I am saying again just put him as a character to the journey guide and bring us a new Galactic Legends equal to those we already have.

  • No reason needed its hondo and he deserves it.  But we should get a 3rd one as a journey, bcuz 1 hondo is good. 2 are better. 3 is just good business! My mother told me that when I was a baby weeqway.

The game isn't even balanced in the 1st place😂 All gl teams can be beaten by non gl teams anyway (I've literally beaten all relic 9 gl teams with just relic 5 gungangs..)  and a team of jawas can kill so many force users..

And Why would jabba than be a gl and not just a journey character? The only power he actually has is eating and hiding behind bodyguards..   and I'm not even gonna start about sequel content. Same with ahsoka where her only power is being a filloni character (those don't die and stay dead)

  • CG won't make as much money if they just shove him in the journey guide.

True 99.9% of the effort goes into stuff they can make buyable packs from and the same bugs stay for years. But investing that money back in the game isn't something they know about.

We don't even have a claim all button anymore for the daily missions and galactic challenges have been an useless event that doesn't give rewards for almost a year now, unless you pay for it.

Why did you assume the people developing this cared about integrity of power differences? If they did, they never would have introduced GLs in the first place.

Exactly this. We already have gungans that can smash everything, so all these whinings have little sense considering that Hondo is at least a fun character.

If people are now really pissed about Hondo being a GL, they should have stopped buying stuff in this game long ago. Because, you know, the only way we can get CG to listen to us is to hit them in the wallet.

You are seriously making an argument about Hondo not being able to face off against Jedi and Sith and should not be allowed to be a GL, but if you look, we already have GLs that aren’t force capable that are GLs that can take on the Jedi and Sith easily. All the GLs can’t be Sith and Jedi only. That would be boring.

  • The game isn’t meant to be balanced that way, for one. And even if you want to say he “couldn’t beat force users” he held both Obi-Wan and Count Dooku hostage during the clone wars, so he obviously can beat force users. Overall, though, the game just isn’t made where the counters are based on lore, because then Darth Vader would beat 90% of the characters.

  • Sure. It’s not like Hondo ever captured any sith or jedi to hold them for ransom…. Oh…. Wait…

  • in addition to Miracleasd29's point, I will say that the game is ... a game within a game. You're pretending to be a player at the Holotables, and that in-game player is actually the one collecting characters. Most people at a random casino in the SW galaxy won't have any idea exactly how powerful Vader or General Leia or Jabba the Hutt were. The names are legendary, the details of their powers are vague and uncertain. But like all legends, the people will tend to describe their deeds and abilities as even greater than they actually were.

From the point of view of a casino gambler living 20 or 50 years after Episode 9, would they even know who was more powerful?

And, of course, on top of that, they're playing to win. My player-character has over 300M credits and could easily have $1B if I didn't reinvest most of them in mods. It's necessary, but ultimately still profitable. After all, I started out with 0 credits and I now have $300M. If I really were that fictional player-character, I'd be perfectly happy with a system that didn't get powers and abilities exactly right (how could they? These are legendary events spread by word of mouth.) so long as I got to keep gambling. After all, it's paid off well so far.
