Will there be compensation for the resources spent on Bad Batch?I filled them up from p5 to p7 all 5 characters to beat the 5th category of the raid. But after today's update they can't even pass 4. They became useless characters in the raid. Will there be any compensation for players and a rollback of characters?

I understand that with larger factions you can have squads that can't max the raid tier that their relics qualify them for. I get it. The goal there is to 7* and relic the best toons from that faction. And I understand that BB has 10 members. If they were all eligible for the raid, then having nuBB perform well and oldBB perform poorly would be fine. But this is the new faction that they're pushing and OG BB aren't even eligible. There is no sub-par team comp because there are only 5 toons. It's one team. They're either capable or they aren't. And even with that it would be okay for them to underperform if they were some old squad like Jawas or even a mix of really old and later era but still old toons, like the Tuskens. But this is the new featured squad. The DS clones aren't a squad on their own. They rely on Tarkin in the raid and LV outside of it. Jedi Vanguard aren't a squad on their own, but Kelleran Beq + one new toon (Jocasta Nu) crushes it. Why in the world would they take the only new squad, with only five eligible characters in the faction, and give them a modifier that doesn't allow them to complete the raid at the difficulty tier intended for their relics? We're supposed to take 5 toons to r9 to get r7 or r5 rewards? Please. If the toons can't perform, that's because CG's modifier is badly crafted. Get it together, CG.

I just watched the Egnards video on this. I had lucky timing, I guess? We started a new raid a night or two before the fix and I had already run BB when the fix went up, so I haven't played it yet. Egnards says that it's possible with r7 and Darjelo says the same in this thread. Both of these people are credible to me and I believe both. That said!Egnard also details how the core mechanics of BB don't work at all in the raid below r9 unless you're playing the most basic 300k tier. Target practice doesn't work because marking enemies causes them to stealth, so you can't focus fire to burn one enemy down, picking up Target Practice along the way OR you can't use specials from Hunter & Batcher which are core to making the team function. Target Practice is also effectively reset each round. Now this TP reset between rounds bothers me less since the core difficulty changes when you eliminate Fox & Appo, so a new round is going to be easier than the first round, and you did that without any starting Target Practice. Even so, it's important to acknowledge that TP and Marked are core to how BB function, and hanging on to TP between rounds becomes much more important if Marked isn't working so it's already a nightmare to build TP stacks and to keep them going. No Marked and no Target Practice ruins nuBadBatch. This is part of a negative philosophy of game design where characters are given cool things that they can do, and then the important challenges for your characters are given their difficulty NOT by giving the enemy cool things that they can do, but by preventing the player from using any of the cool things they can normally do.This philosophy sets up challenges for teams that rely on spreading debuffs by giving the enemy +1000% tenacity - meaning that the core mechanic of the squad simply doesn't function. It challenges teams that rely on dodge by giving the enemy can't-miss attacks. This is wrong.I don't care about a challenge being difficult. That's why it's called a challenge. But we save ability materials for a reason. People complain about not finding enough zetas for a reason. The reason is that we want our characters to be able to do the cool things that they were designed to do. To tell BB players that they can only use BB if they give up Marked & Target Practice is to tell players that BB is no longer allowed to be cool.EVEN WHEN OUR TEAMS ARE GETTING DESTROYED BY POWERFUL ENEMIES, we still want them to be cool and do cool things.This is bad game design. CG is deliberately and purposefully killing the cool. And if they're doing that, why play the game anyway?

You assume they care at all about your time, effort, and resources. This game is absolute joke now.

So they make a team that is completely irrelevant to Order 66 required just to try to get people to farm it before the raid so they can make money. Then when the raid is released they have a "bug" that helps the team to make it reasonable to complete at the relic level you are at. They promptly patch this bug, and now the team is complete garbage after we all spent time and resources on it. Features of the team are null and void. I have good mods on my team, better than this team deserves, just for this raid. Now I have to spend time to remod this team just for the raid anyways. Like I have the time for this **bleep**. At this point I want all my resources refunded to me so I can put them on a useful team. I know of a dark place where you can stick your raid and this BB squad.

Meanwhile, we spend time and resources to get GL Ahsoka asap. Her team has a bug that negatively impacts all modes of the game, from GAC, TB, TW, etc etc., and it has been months with no fixes, not even an acknowledgement that it exist, just "troubleshooting". So invest in a GL and they screw you. Invest in a garbage raid team and they screw you. I think I get pattern here.

I doubt we'll get any compensation. I'm unable to even clear the first group with r7 bad batch before Vader kills a Jedi. Most of the time I've lost with 0 points. Having the enemy stealth when using a special kills any hope of winning. This raid is so broken, hate it so much. I used to love raids, now I can barely bring myself to play them, even worse when you've invested so much to get characters and they completely suck.

Sounds like a modding / strategy issue. I got max score with my r7 Bad Batch.

Songeta has a recent video showing BB max scoring on R7 tier with a new strategy. Ahnald has a video on it as well. The new strategy is to not use marking abilities except when the enemy is Shocked.

Y'all are acting as if BB went from 100 to 0 when the reality is that their raid run now uses different modding and strategy, that's all that's changed, the sky isn't falling.

Normally quite supportive of CG and the new cadence but they've missed a chance to really get some goodwill from the community here.

I totally understand that it isn't a nerf but big mistake on their part, not only will I not be taking BB up to R9, I'm leaving them where they are at R3 now. Would think many f2p will ignore them now unless they are needed for reqs.

Agree, they don't. However think they've missed a trick here and could have had a huge win by acting as they did with the sep droid bug in the Naboo raid and just let it go.

I remoded mine as well and got r5 max scoring. The problem is there are plenty of people out there that may not have the mods or the time to remod every freaking raid. For me it is the time. People put resources into this new team to get it relic level by raid time. Usually the reward for doing this is an easier raid experience vs the old toons you have to mod the F*** out of to get better scores. Also, they released it and gave many people this impression, then fixed the "bug" and now the team is garbage without top notch mods.
But hey I guess as long as you are happy about it that is all that matters. You got the time and the mods so go get yours.

I was critical of the change initially but on playing its shaved only 250k off my non-optimally modded for the raid r3 BB2 team so don't think the change is anywhere near as bad as some think (from some of the posts you'd think they were unusable). Sure once I get them all modded that 250k will be back, and will certainly carry on bringing them up relic levels.
