It is not limiting the ability to play. That is what is going on now by not having it.
I have to tell my top players to back off.
If this raid damage cap was around they can play all the want with every attempt they are allowed and yet only the set damage will be met.
But why tell your players to back off in the first place? The 4m damage seems an arbitrary number. Is it to give those with lesser squads a chance to take top spot from someone with a stronger one?
Because we have 49 players at the moment. In only a few short weeks top players will be able to solo the raid.
If I dont set raid restrictions, (something until now I have only had to do at the end of Tier 5) then people will solo the raid before people get a chance to complete it.
Setting 24 hr 0 score and player damage caps is logical.
But not if 1/3rd of the guild cannot tead it.
That is the point. As I clearly put out at rhe top in the original post.
These are not restricions of want. They are necessary part of Guild evolutuon with no raid damage handicap available.
I don't want to delete a third of my guild. But I also don't want that third soloing the raid before anybody gets a chance to get on board.
