I feel like, if they ever do rework Vader, it should be a design principle that he HAS to be able to beat CLS in a 1v1. I don't know if you guys remember, it wasn't exactly a hugely important part of the movie or anything, but Vader kinda curb-stomped Luke in their first duel. Like, absolutely decimated him. If Vader hadn't been playing with him, it would've ended in about 5 seconds. At best.
Also, I feel like any rework should take the focus away from culling blade. Vader's most powerful ability shouldn't really be that one move he did once that didn't really achieve a huge amount.

Rework chaze so they represent that they are side characters from a movie that didn't need to be made lol.
Since we're throwing around wishes for things that aren't going to happen- yes, this.
How do you know they won't rework Vader? They reworked Old Ben....
Maybe they will at some point, but I think the new trend is going to be to release entirely new characters, new versions of characters who are already in the game, and require them to unlock the new super-characters like Jedi Luke.
I.e. New hermit Yoda, new Rebel officer Leia, Hoth Han, whatever, etc.- riffinator24New Spectator

Also an Empire tag would be fitting on K2S0, since he still bears the emblem and originally was Empire...
But he was reprogrammed so the new "brain" was for the Rebel alliance not the Empire - If they redo Vader...it wouldn't be the one that we have in game.
On the subject of the moodier, Return of the Jedi-era Luke, Salera is still cagey, despite there being an image of the character on the game's new loading screen. "We definitely want to bring Jedi Luke in," he admits. "We have various iterations of characters – like Anakin and Darth Vader, so we'll definitely be doing other iterations of Luke."

This was from May 2017. I'm guessing we'll get a different Vader first vs. a reworked one, if a reworked one at all.- It seems like a reasonable thing to do would be to have events that unlock abilities for characters already existing. Events of the dame difficulty as the R2 / Thrawn / CLS events, but instead of giving you a new character they improve a skill on a specific character to Zeta-level strength.
That way the older characters don't get left behind, but there is a progression gate to go through so that overpowered characters don't get universally handed out. - ^^^ this idea makes me think of a different idea... What if characters had ability trees that you had to choose? Like most rpg's. Like each character could have 8 abilities and you can only choose 5 or something.
- New characters mean more money.
- If we are trying to rework characters to make logical sense...a lot of characters are going to get changed. Many made MUCH weaker. Not everything needs to make sense.
- I am thinking ROTJ Vader may get released sometime. My thinking this will be the version where he is not wearing his helmet at the end of the movie. I further predict that this will start another helmet controversy.
