I'm not sure if they are keeping the tradition of Conquest + GL combo

But the next Road Ahead is on June, and CG was aware of the complaints of releasing a GL + Conquest combo with the Conquest character not being released before the GL was out (LV without Maul complaints where CG said to just be patient and wait till Maul comes out in ~2 months to see how LV really does)

So assuming RA in June, with the same release schedule, we should have two conquest characters fully released before both GLs are out, so we will have Conquest characters unlocked before the GLs

But I still don't think this is the case here, and Malgus is not a supporting character for a GL down the line mostly because they would've done a LS Conquest character first, then Malgus

Eventually we'll get that, and a Red 5 X-Wing with CLS and R2-D2 as pilots. So I wouldn't bother with that, since it'll be released eventually. All other wishes in this thread are speculation at best... Since it's been like forever since Old Republic content was released (we don't even have a full Jedi OR team right now).

There's no Rebel Galactic Legend! Her Return of the Jedi Endor character could easily represent the faction. My only question is who the Dark Side counterpart would be--Emperor and Vader are already Legends and the original trilogy only had a handful of Dark Side characters.

(But also I'd say we're more likely to get Asohka and Thrawn Galactic Legends first. Probably in conjunction with the new series as they come along.)

I agree.
I remember reading from CG somewhere that they don't want to keep the 2 side thing of 2 new GLs "belonging" together. Who knows.

I also agree, that I think the new GLs might be im connection to the new Series coming out. Thrawn at least for the dark side. Light side Ahsoka, but I'm not sure because we have CAT now as a powerful character. Maybe, depending on what happens, Ezra? Or Kanan's son? Would be nice to see the the full circle of Ezra teaching Kanan's son.

I think what we need is GL Jedi Master Hermit Old Ben Kenobi to go along with the new kenobi series
