I made a discussion some time ago about people waiting until the eleventh hour to participate in GAC and giving me false hope, to which people rightfully pointed out about jobs and downtime.
This guy waited until the last twenty minutes to do anything. And it’s the holidays. Give me a break.

If your defense can be beat in 20 minutes, might be a skill issue.
I've won rounds by finishing with literally 3 seconds left on the round timer. Life and work gets in the way. Nothing to do with false hope.
It shouldn't make a difference for you, you should always be trying to get the best score possible.
Make yourself happier and dont look at GA until you see the end of round rewards in your inbox.
OutrunWhistle That's all part of the game m8. Getting it all in the first hour to discourage your opponent. Appearing afk and then striking as late as possible (especially fun if both parties do this and you get a race against the clock). Doing some battles and feigning that you're blocked by defense to make your opponent think they've won.
You got a 24h window, they get a 24h window, nothing unfair about what both players choose to do in between. You're not owed being able to lean back just because you think the other is a no show.
My opponent waited until last minute to score his 75 points, I did the same. It's Saturday here, and we're in the 2nd round of the NHL draft picks. Yes, some people work, even holidays and weekends.
Firstly its not the holidays everywhere. Secondly not everyone is of an age where holidays are relevant. Thirdly, we'll play the game when it suits us not you. 4th, please take this as total disrespect
It shouldn't matter if he waits until the last 20 minutes. You should have cleared as much as you could strategically to make as many points as you are able. If he was able to score more points than you with only 20 minutes he deserved to win. I just had a round where I was attacking at the same time my opponent was attacking. He was clearing my defense with ease and I knew I didn't have a chance of clearing his front row because of datacrons. Took my one fight for my loss rewards and moved on.
it's not an ebay auction. it doesn't really matter what their reason is. ultimately, you shouldn't expect or feel entitled to a 'free' win.
