So many OUTDATED characters in game

Jumping straight to point:
(1) Commander Luke Skywalker: Outdated model if you compare to other Lukes in game.
(2) Director Krennic: One of the ugliest characters in game which isn't so in SW franchise. Needs atleast a good model rework and on his abilities too, if possible.
(3) Imperial Probe Droid: One of the "EXCLUSIVE" TB characters in game for its severely outdated and underwhelming kit. Its insta-kill isn't even a proper insta-kill but 99999 damage.
(4) Deathtrooper: He doesn't just work for Director Krennic, but all of the high ranked Imperial officers (Tarkin, Thrawn, Moff Gideon, etc). I know his kit was specifically designed for Rogue One, but it isn't the only movie that exists in franchise. He also has a unique blaster sound (as we see in Rebels, Andor, etc) which surprisingly isn't there in game.
(5) Plo Koon: He is one of my favourite Jedi and his kit is too outdated like some of the other Jedi like Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto, Eeth Koth etc. Maybe they need a proper zetas/omicrons for their kits to work or better synergies with some of the missing clones in game.
(6) Cassian Andor: I am surprised we have an ongoing series on him and still no model rework. Baze Malbus is in similar boat too.
(7) Some synergy among Lando, Ugnaught and Lobot would be nice like the one between IG-11 and Kuill

There's many more I may have missed. Please add if you feel like it needs a rework.
  • I mean, sure there's still some characters that are lagging behind, but in the last year+ we've seen a plethora of characters that raise long forgotten toons to new levels of viability. I take particular exception to #1 - sure, there's more CLS counters out there now but there's SO MUCH that CLS still hard-counters, I really don't see how he made this list - much less at the #1 position.

IPD and Death Trooper are surprising to see on this list as well. They're not AMAZING characters but they both have a very solid place in their respective slots.

I'd love to see Krennic get some love - same with Gar Saxon and ISC. Other than those three, Ugnaught, and Lobot are the only two that come to mind that are truly useless. I mean there's always CUP, but I feel like CUP should be left alone so as not to invalidate all the great memes over the years.

I'm not gonna lie, I would LOVE for this to be a 3v3 GAC team! Add a couple zetas and an omicron, and I'm 100% on board.

Op list CLS just for his character model, not skill set...

Except that was never listed as an instant kill/Destroy effect. "Massive damage" (which is what the ability says it does) has always had that base value. By all means, suggest changes, but avoid misconstruing kits.

That's the whole point. "Massive damage" itself is outdated in today's gameplay. I never "misconstrued" anything. Probe droid is a TB exclusive character but extremely mediocre with its use in game. Even Aphra has better DS droids to go with her than the probe droid.

What other DS droids would go with Aphra? BT-1 and 0-0-0 are obvious, and I use IG-88 and IPD in 5v5.

I'm seeing more people use HK-47/Vader over IPD

Love the reply! And yes, I agree my numbering is incorrect here. I added the top 3 for some minor changes.

    Vader I’ve seen on occasion replacing IPD or IG-88. HK-47 I haven’t.

Wasn't sure if that was a language barrier thing or if they were actually talking about the texture. If we're talking about the texture - sure it could use an update but that doesn't even make it to the top 10 of my wish list. Either way, to each their own.
